Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

The available Blind Spot Monitor is designed to warn you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Highlander’s blind spot on either side of the vehicle. Available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert works when Highlander is in Reverse to help detect vehicles approaching from either side. If the system senses cross traffic, it warns you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

Using both a camera and radar, PCS w/PD can provide an audio/visual alert to warn you of a possible collision under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to automatically brake.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) or Full-Speed Range DRCC

Intended for highway use, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) lets you drive at a preset speed. DRCC is designed to function at speeds of 25-110 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you. Full-Speed Range DRCC (DRCC) is designed to function between 0-110 mph.
