Fremont Motor Company opened its doors to the public in 1938 in Lander, Wyoming. Fremont Motors is located in 13 different locations 12 the state of Wyoming and 1 in Nebraska. Communities with dealerships include: Lander, Cody, Casper, Riverton, Sheridan, Rawlins, Rock Springs, and Scottsbluff, NE. The current dealerships sell 8 vehicle lines including Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, GMC, and Toyota. While there are several companies involved in the organization, all are family owned and Wyoming corporations. All are active in their communities by sponsoring local events and volunteering where needed. There are over 450 people employed by all the Fremont Stores combined. Fremont Motors also has its own Auto Collision Center, Transportation Center, and Management Company that operate independently of the dealerships.
