Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)

When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. While LTA is activated, the Emergency Drive Stop System (EDSS) is designed to monitor the driver to determine if they are inattentive and can bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver does not respond to prompts to resume control of the vehicle.

Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD)

The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) is designed to help detect a vehicle or a pedestrian in certain situations. Using both a camera and radar, PCS w/PD can provide an audio/visual alert to warn you of a possible collision under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to automatically brake.

Intended for highway use, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) lets you drive at a preset speed. DRCC is designed to function at speeds of 25-110 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you. Full-Speed Range DRCC (DRCC) is designed to function between 0-110 mph.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA) or Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/ SA)

By detecting visible white/yellow lane markings or the road’s edge at speeds above 32 mph, Lane Departure Alert (LDA) or Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) is designed to issue an audio/visual alert if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If the driver does not take corrective action, the Steering Assist function (if equipped) is designed to provide gentle corrective steering.

Automatic High Beams (AHB)

The Automatic High Beams (AHB) safety system is designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 25 mph. The AHB system can detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggles between high and low beams accordingly.
